In this guide we will go through each step of making your own DIY wooden nightstand.

Materials
- Top/ Bottom Wood 30x20x2 cm (2 pieces)
- Side Wood 17x20x2 cm (2 pieces)
- Frame Wood 26×2.5×2.5 cm (1 piece)
- Frame Side Wood 17.5×2.5×2.5 cm (2 pieces)
- 18 wood screws 40 mm (length), 4 mm (diameter)
- 3 wall screws + dowels (recommended: 55mm, size 8)
- Wood paint / varnish+ paint brush

Step 1
Firstly, drill 3 holes (2 holes are 4cm from respective edges and one is 13cm from the edge) in the frame wooden piece (item 3). After that turn it and drill 2 more holes (8.5cm from edge).
Then connect the top wooden piece (item 1) with the frame wooden piece (item 3) using 2 wood screws (item 5).

Step 2
Join side wooden pieces (item 2) with frame side wooden pieces (item 4) using 2 wood screws for each.

Step 3
Attach the top wooden piece (from step 1) to side wooden pieces (from step 2).
Firstly, using 2 wood screws for each frame side piece (as shown in the diagram). Then connect frame wooden pieces together using 2 screws (firstly drill 2 holes to avoid cracks).
Step 4
Firstly, drill 6 holes (as shown in the diagram) in the bottom piece (item 1) to avoid cracks.
Afterwards, connect the bottom piece (item 1) with the side wooden pieces using 3 screws for each edge.

Step 5
Cover your nightstand with varnish / paint for wood and leave to dry.
Meanwhile, decide where you want to position your nightstand. Make 3 markings on a wall. Use spirit level to ensure horizontal position.
After that, drill 3 holes in the wall and insert a dowel into each. Finally, attach your nightstand to the wall by screwing 3 wall screws (item 6) into 3 holes made in step 1. Done!
